Voice: CLinician

Audience: General Public

Say Back: The PowerPoint presentation was used to inform the audience of the different characteristics adn treatment techniques used with patients with dysphagia

Bless: I liked how you used pictures of actual people asking questions about dysphagia---very creative Kristen.

Address: You may want to consude the pistuce of the man choking it may be a little too much for this type of presentation. But maybe not just a suggestion. Everything looked great.

Peer Response: Genre 6

Kristen (genre 6)

Voice: The clinician

Audience: The general public

Say back: The powerpoint presentation coveys to the viewer information regarding Broca’s aphasia such as related terms, symptoms, treatment techniques, effects of treatments, long term affects of the disorder, and related references available for further examination.

Bless: Your slide show was extremely well organized and informative. It was also very well cited. My favorite part was the use of the pictures. It seemed to make the presentation a little less formal.

Address: The slide that has the picture of the guy holding his neck like he is chocking has a speech bubble out from it indicating that he is speaking calmly as he appears to be choking to death. The use of a thought bubble instead of a speech bubble might be more affective along with a picture that doesn’t look so distressing.
